Dear California State Lawmaker’s:
Recently, I had the opportunity to attend “Innovations In Aging 2012” as a guest speaker & vendor at National Harbor, Maryland,
hosted by the State of Maryland Department of Aging Long Term Care. (Sponsored by corporate organizations)
It was exhilarating to see over eight thousand seniors from, the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia attending this thought-provoking event. There were professionals in health care, home health, the aging networks, caregivers, as well as baby boomers and mature adults seeking encore careers were all welcomed to participate.
With an estimated three (3) million grandparents, and five (5) million caregiver’s in the state of 
California alone, it only makes sense for us to duplicate such a successful event.
It is my aspiration that OUR great State of California implement this type of thought-provoking event with the aim of planning, protecting and caring for our seniors, and caregivers which will create job opportunities for the aging population. By working together we can all be an asset to our state and it’s economy for years to come.
