Recently, I had the opportunity to attend “Innovations In Aging 2012” as a guest speaker & vendor at National Harbor, Maryland, hosted by the State of Maryland Department of Aging Long Term Care. (Sponsored by corporate organizations)
It was exhilarating to see over eight thousand seniors from, the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia attending this thought-provoking event. There were professionals in health care, home health, the aging networks, caregivers, as well as baby boomers and mature adults seeking encore careers were all welcomed to participate.
It is my aspiration that OUR great State of California implement this type of thought-provoking event with the aim of planning, protecting and caring for our seniors, and caregivers which will create job opportunities for the aging population. By working together we can all be an asset to our state and it’s economy for years to come. I will be contacting your office to schedule an appointment with you regarding this and other elder care matters.
Have a wonderful day!
